He fought them till his last breath and he always lived by the principle that it was better to live like a lion for a day and die fighting to defend your honour and your kingdom than to live like a jackal for a hundred years. That was the philosophy Tipu believed and he was the one who shook the foundations of the mighty British empire, there’s no doubt about that.
