Answers
( 1 ). The petroleum is called Black Gold because when Crude oil comes out from the ground it appears black and after purification it becomes Gold. Also, petroleum is very Expensive.
⠀⠀
( 2 ). Fossils fuels are made up from decomposition of animals and plants and these are non-renewable sources of energy.
There are three Main Fossil fuels —
- Coal
- Petroleum
- Natural Gas
⠀⠀⠀
( 3 ). Basically, Coal tar is the production of Coal gas or coke from coal. It's a thick dark liquid.
★ U S E S :
- Coal tar has medical as well as industrial uses. It can be used in production of some chemical products.
- It is mainly used in Combination of Ultraviolet light therapy.
⠀⠀⠀
( 4 ). CNG is stands for (Compressed Natural Gas) is called as Cleaner fuel because it is environment free it causes less pollution by emitting some pollution causing pollutants like unburned hydrocarbons Etc.
⠀⠀⠀
( 5 ). Some Harmful effects of using Fossils Fuels are —
- They cause Global Warming.
- They are non – renewable sources of energy.
- They cause Air Pollution.
⠀⠀⠀
( 6 ). Basically, Peat is the substance which is made up of Dead and decaying organic matter. Peat is very important because it is used in many ways an example as Peat is the important source of green house because it releases Carbon Dioxide. & also Peat is a soft and Dark brown substance.
⠀⠀⠀
