1)a)wool obtained from sheep ,goat.

b) silk obtained from caterpillar

2)a) shearing-The process of removing hair from the body of a sheep is called shearing.

b) Grading-The fleece is picked by hand to sort it out into seperate piles of similar nature.

c) wasting or cleaning- They are washed with soap detergent to remove the oily layer.that layer is called yolk.

d) Sorting and blending- wool from different batches is then mixed together mechanically.The hairy skin is send to a factory where hair of different textures are separated or sorted.

e) carding-The clean wool is then passed through rollers. The web is then drawn into narrow ropes and further into narrower fleece strand.

f) spinning- The continuous ropes are then formed by the use of steel fingers which divide the wool and rool the strand on top of one another.

g) Dyeing- Then the fibres can be dyed in various colours.

h) weaving or knitting- In weaving ,one set of yarn is arranged lengthwise(warp) and the other set is crosswise (weft). The two warp and weft are interlocked.

I) Fulling and finishing- The fabric is passed through quality control inspection where imperfection such as broken thread and variation in colour are identified.

j) Crabbing-In this process,the fabric goes through hot and then cold water in order to set the cloth.

k) chemical finisher- chemical finisher are then added to the wool.
