2. Relief (Land and soil) and Climate (Temperature, humidity, photoperiod and precipitation) are the factors which are responsible for the distribution of plants and animals in India.

3. A biosphere reserve is an ecosystem with plants and animals of unusual scientific and natural interest. Dihang-Dibang: It is located in Arunachal Pradesh. Rare mammals such as Mishmi takin, red goral, musk deer, red panda, Asiatic black bear etc.

4. The common animals found in the tropical forests are elephants and monkeys and the common animals found in the montane forests are Kashmir stag and spotted dear.
