1)Alauddin Khilji came to power after murdering his uncle Jalaluddin Khilji, after which he came to Delhi and declared himself the new ruler amidst great celebration. However, soon after coming to power Khilji realized all the challenges that he had to face.

2)Jauhar, historically, Indian rite of collective self-immolation, performed by the women, young children, and other dependants of a besieged fort or town when it was felt that holding out against the enemy was no longer possible and that death appeared the only honourable way out of the impasse

5)The Alai Darwaza is the main gate from the southern side of the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque in the Qutub Minar complex .Built by Allaudin Khilji the Sultan of Delhi in 1311 AD, the Alai Darwaza has a domed entrance which is constructed using red sandstone and is adorned with white marble.
