i) A line which separates two adjacent drainage basins is known as a water divide. Precipitation on either side of the line travels in different or opposing directions. It is the separation between neighboring water basins, for example, Ambala water divide.

ii)Ganga basin

iii)River Indus originates near lake Mansarowar in Tibet and Ganga originates from Gangotri glacier.

iv)River Narmada and Tapi are the two Peninsular rivers which flow through trough.
