Answer:

i) Drinking water helps the body rid itself of excess sodium, which results in less fluid retention. The body will retain fluid if there is too little water in the cells

ii)  Microwaving, frying, boiling, are the pre cooking practices which led to the loss of nutrients in food materials. The nutrients in vegetables and fruits are concentrated just below the skin, so peeling before boiling increases the loss of Vitamin C, Folic Acid and other B vitamins.

iii) Carbon dioxide, excess water produced during respiration and nitrogenous compounds produced during protein metabolism are the major excretory products in plants. Plants produce two gaseous waste products i.e. oxygen during photosynthesis and carbon dioxide during respiration.

iv) Organisms need to take food to get energy and perform life processes. A living organism undergoes many life processes like nutrition, respiration, digestion, transportation, excretion, blood circulation, and reproduction. ... The energy to the organism is supplied through food.

Answer:

Dehydration is a deficiency of water in the body. Vomiting, diarrhea, excessive sweating, burns, kidney failure, and use of diuretics may cause dehydration. People feel thirsty, and as dehydration worsens, they may sweat less and excrete less urine. If dehydration is severe, people may be confused or feel light-headed.
