Taplow is the student of Mr Crocker Harris. He has a strange attitude towards his teacher. He has mixed feelings towards his teacher. Taplow feels that mr crocker Harris is hardly human. He is shrivelled up like a nut and has no feelings at all because he has asked taplow to come to school in the last day of school to complete his work. Taplow also exclaims that Mr Crocker Harris is not a sadist , one who feels pleasure in giving pain to others. He also seems to hate people who like him.
