Different forms of condensation are-
1. Dew- The deposition of water vapour in the form of tiny droplets on the colder bodies by condensation is known as dew.
2. Frost- Wen the temperature of air falls below 0 degree C, before the dew point is reached, the water vapour is directly converted into crystal of ice and called frost.
3. Fog- Extremely small water droplets suspending in the atmosphere and reducing the horizontal visibility is fog.

- Dew
The precipitation of water vapor by condensation in the form of small droplets on the colder bodies is known as dew.When the moisture is accumulated on cooler surfaces of solid objects in the form of water droplets above the surface such as stones, it is also known as dew . The freezing point is above for formation of dew.
- Frost
When the air temperature drops below 0 degree Celusius the water vapor is directly converted into ice crystal before the dew point is reached. Frost is nothing but thin layer of ice on a solid surface.
- Fog
Extremely small droplets of water which stay in the atmosphere and reduce horizontal visibility is called as fog.It is formed when the temperature of an air mass containing a huge amount of water vapor suddenly drops, condensation on tiny particles particles takes place within itself. So the fog is a cloud that has its origin on to the ground. The visibility is low due to the fog and mist.
- Mist
Mist is less denser than fog. In mist contains a thicker layer of moisture in each nucleus. mist commonly occurs over mountain regions . Mist is also developed by droplets of water but with less coalescence. It means the mist is less concentrated and quickly dissipates.
- Rime
It is created on striking objects like telegraph posts when wet fog has super-cooled droplets instantly freezed. It can often seen on tree tops mountains and in winter seasons.
- smog
The combined effect of droplets from smoke and fog that lower visibility, and this is called as smog. Smog can also be caused by the burning of large amounts of coal, vehicle emissions and industrial fumes these are nothing but Primary pollutants.
- Haze
Some solid particles like dust, smoke, from fire and insdustry which are not visible to our naked eyes is defined as haze.These dust, smoke and other dry particles obstruct the clearness of the sky.
