- The Ladakh cold desert is mainly formed upon the Ladakh range of the Kashmir.

- This Ladakh range is basically an important and popular part of the trans-Himalayan mountain range of the India which later gets connected with the Kailash mountain range.

- So, basically the ladakh cold desert is made out of only one mountain range which is the Ladakh mountain range.
