Explanation:

Indian sub continent contains the Eastern and Western coastal plain, delta is the fomed only in Eastern coastal plain whereas estuaries were formed in eastern coastal plain because of the deccan plateau had downward slope towards the eastern side so majority of rivers flow towards Bay of Bengal and formed the Delta.

Western flowing rivers are very small comparable to eastern flowing river so it  contains the less silt than eastern flowing river.
