Sandeep had a rectangular piece of land measuring 107 m × 103 m. Using algebraic formulas, find
the amount he will have to pay as Property Tax at the rate of Rs. 22. per square meter.

Let length of the side be l
Let breadth be b
And cost per unit area be x
Now the algebraic equation for calculating the cost becomes :
(l×b)x

Putting the values of l ,b, and x in this equation :
(107×103)22 = Rs.242462

∴He will pay the property tax of Rs242462
