5. In 1774, Louis XVI of the Bourbon family of kings ascended the throne of France. He found an empty treasury. The causes for it was (i) Long years of wars had drained the financial resources of France. ... So, the French government had to spend an increasing percentage of its budget on interest payment.
6. Jacobin club belonged mainly to the less prosperous section of society. It was a political club formed to discuss government policies and plan their own forms of action. Contributions: Jacobins planned an insurrection of a large number of Parsians who were angered by the short supplies and high prices of food.
