b) The Egyptian civilization emerged in the Nile Valley in the North- eastern Africa. Every year the Nile would overflow its banks transforming the entire valley into a Vast Lake . When the flood water receded, it left behind the layer of silt and mud on both sides of the river banks. This Annual deposit made the land very fertile and crops grew easily in this land and yielded rich harvests. Egypt , thus became a land of plenty.
