1. Animal cells do not have a cell wall composed of a cell membrane. A plant cell is enclosed by a hard/rigid cell wall along with the plasma membrane. The animal cell is enclosed by a thin, flexible plasma membrane. The nucleus is present in the plant cell and lies in one side of the cell.
