Explanation:

Catching of fire to a body depends upon the ignition point of the particular body. The ignition point of one body vary from the other body. If the ignition point is much smaller then, the chances of catching fire will be higher and vice versa. Also the less ignition point will take less time to catch fire.

Paper when compared with the twig has less ignition point. Therefore it takes less time for the paper to catch fire and it will take a longer time for the twig to catch fire.

The catching of fire may be affected due to the surrounding and weather of the place. For example the catching of fire is difficult in most humid and wet conditions.
