The kingdoms and dynasties of the early medieval and middle medieval period rise to power and fell frequently because the ruling kings never maintain huge and strong armies. Without an efficient, trained and strong army they were defeated easily. The kingdoms and dynasties lack capable rulers. New kingdoms and dynasties rise to power. But the internal conflicts make them weak. This resulted in their defeat from invasions.
