Explanation:
India contain variety of climate that are present in different regions of India.
2 sub types of climate are seen in India which are tropical monsoon climate and tropical wet and dry climate.
Tropical monsoon climate is also called as tropical wet climate as it contain most humidity.India's two island like Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar islands have this kind of climate.The temperature of these area are moderate to high and heavy rainfall occur that takes place between May and November.This climate is ideal for the growth of green vegetation and thus most biodiversity occur in this areas.
The tropical wet and dry climate is very common that are found in most inland peninsular.Winter and summer season is very long in these areas and the duration of rainy season is from June to September and the range of annual rainfall is 1,500 to 2,000 mm. The pleasant weather occur in January. Ganges Delta is located in this climatic area.
Except these 2 climate, Arid and Semi arid climate is seen that is further subdivided into 3 climatic sub types that are- tropical semi arid steppe (Karnataka,Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh etc), arid climate(Rajasthan),tropical and sub tropical steppe climate(Punjab,Haryana,Kathiawar) etc.
