A) Yes it will, any object gets a shadow when it is opaque or translucent in nature. A transparent object will not create any shadow, as light will pass straight through the object, but such transparent objects do not allow all the light to pass through them.

B) Shadow is nothing but space when the light is blocked by an opaque object. It is just that part where light does not reach.

C) When you move the object close to the screen, the shadows overlap, leaving a very dark (black) shadow where the object blocks both lights. When you turn off the green light, leaving on the red and blue lights, the screen will appear to be magenta, a mixture of red and blue. The shadows will be red and blue.

D) For an object to produce a dark shadow, it must not allow light to pass through it at all. If all the light on falling on the object is reflected or absorbed, a dark shadow is formed.
