1. Valency of element 's' is 1 as it belongs to group 17.

Explanation: 's' is an element of group 17 and we know that elements of group 17 always has 7 valence electons. So this means they are eager to gain one more electron in order to complete its octet.

2.Element 'p' belongs to group 16

3.The name of family of metals 'q' and 't' is Alkaline Earth metals

Explanation: As 'q' and 't' belongs to group 2 and we know group 2 metals are Alkaline Earth metals.

4. The biggest element is 't' since atomic radius increases as we go down a certain group in the periodic table of elements.

Explanation: 't' is the biggest element as it contains more number of shells or orbits than any of the other elements.

5. 's' is the most electronegative element among the given elements

Explanation:Electronegativity generally increases as we move from left to right across a period.

★Important Terms used★

Valency: It is combining capacity of an element. Valency is determined by the number of electrons in its valence shell(0utermost shell)

Alkaline Earth Metals: They are called "alkaline" earth metals because they form "alkaline" solutions, hydroxides when they react with water . The term "Alkaline" means that the solution has a pH greater than seven and is basic.

Atomic Radius: It has inverse relation with nuclear charge (A  higher  effective  nuclear charge causes  greater attractions to the electrons, pulling the electron cloud closer to the nucleus which results in a smaller atomic radius)

Electronegativity: An atom's electronegativity is affected by both its atomic number and the size of the atom. (The higher its electronegativity, the more an element attracts electrons). The opposite of electronegativity is electropositivity, which is a measure of an element's ability to donate electrons.
