2. The elephants were very angry because a large part of the forest, their natural habitat, had been cut down. Only a small patch of the forest remained which was not enough to support the elephants. The small patch did not provide them enough food.

3. One morning, the leader of the herd of elephants approached the old granary where the farmers stored their grain and inspected it. It then returned to its herd and after some time, the herd of elephants were seen approaching the granary in an almost military order.
