Answer:

1) The basic needs of the people of Rural areas as described in the lesson were Clean Drinking Water, Food, Energy etc.

2) The responsibilities became important to give them Civic education so that they could understand how we govern ourselves, why we are managing our Environment the way we are managing it.

3) A Good management of the Natural Resources is not possible if you do not have democratic space, Respect for Human being, Respect for Human Rights, giving other People Dignity.

4) The three legs; one leg is peace, the other leg is good governance,

the third leg is sustainable management of resources were according to the Speaker.

5) At that time British government started to clear out the Indigenous forests to establish Commercial plantations of Exotic species of Trees such as the Pinesfrom Northern Hemisphere and Eucalyptus from Australia.

6) Exotic species are used as alternative in many places where local indigenous forest cannot produce the type quantity or quality of forest products required(1)in general aquatic species have growing rates much faster than native species there for their produce more wood per unit area and time in tropics exotic species could grow 5 to 10 times more than the would then native species. Exotic species usually can adapt to different environment conditions nevertheless in important to test the exotics in this zone where it need your sliding a large scale plantation establishment.
