The kidney are a pair of bean shaped organ , they are two in number in a healthy person . These are located laterally on either side of verteberal column (spine )level between last thoracic and third lumber vertebra close to the dorsal inner wall of the abdominal cavity

Glomerulus In the kidney, a tiny ball-shaped structure composed of capillary blood vessels actively involved in the filtration of the blood to form urine. The glomerulus is one of the key structures that make up the nephron, the functional unit of the kidney.

In urine formation glomerulus plays a important role in ultrafiltration , it filters the blood through its glomerular capsular membrane . Blood is filtered so finely that almost all the constituents of the plasma except the protien pass on the lumen of the bowmans capsule

The blood which is filtered out of the bowmans capsule is protein less plasma. and it leaves through efferent arteriole
