Answer the pic below
Answers
Answer:
plant cell is different from animal cell because plant cell need less energy to function but animal cell require more energy as it has to move from one place to another.
plant cell have plastid to perform photosynthesis. animal cells did not have plastids
plant cells have large vacuole.animal cells have small vacuole
2) two preservation methods are
nitrogen flushing
add anioxidants.
☀️ Here are ur answers...
The ways in which plant cells differ from animal cells when both are living in nature are:
[⚠️ The points are corresponding to each other. You can write in tabular form, if u wish !!]
❒ Plant cell:
- Cell wall is present which provides turgidity and shape to the cell.
- Lysosomes are not much evident.
- Nucleus present in periphery, due to vacuole.
- The shape of the cell is fixed(rectangular).
- Plant cells have chloroplast because they make their own food.
- One, or two large vacuole which takes 90% of cell volume.
- Centrioles are absent in mature plant cells.
[☘ Centrioles are present in lower plant forms]
- Golgi bodies are present and known as Dictyosomes.
❒ Animal cell:
- Cell wall is absent.
- Lysosomes are present prominently, they help in cellular digestion.
- Nucleus present at the centre and largest in animal cell.
- The shape of cell is irregular(round)
- They don't have plastids(chloroplasts), they obtain food from plants.
- Vacuole are very small and Less in number.
- Centrioles are present in animal cell.
- Golgi bodies are present in abundance.

❒ Preservatives:
They are used with substances that needs to be store for longer period of time. They helps in preventing the oxidation of food. They checks the growth of microorganisms. Some of the Common preservatives:
- Salt( Salting) - It is a common household preservative used in the preservation of meat, fishes, pickles, dry mango slices and Tamarind. They reduce the moisture contact present in food.
- Sugar - Sugar is used to preserve jam, jellies etc. They also reduces moisture content, hence inhibits the growth of microorganisms.
[☀️ Salt and Sugar helps in making the medium hypertonic and reduces the moisture content of food]
- Oil and Vinegar - Oil and Vinegar serve as extreme mediums where these microbes can't survive. Thus, acting as a preservatives.
- Nitrogen Gas - Used in packeted food. We generally consume food like chips which are filled with Nitrogen gas which prevents oxidation.
- Pasteurized (Hot/Cold treatment)- The food is boiled upto a certain temperature and then suddenly cool which kills the microorganisms in the food.
- Artificial preservatives like Sodium Benzoate, Sodium nitrites etc.
- Air tight packets - The nuts, chips and dry fruits are packed in Air tight packets and the microbes can't survive without air. Hence, this also helps in preserving food
