firstly calculate resistance of the coil. Power= volt^2/R , 100=200×200/R , R= 400ohm , it is cut into two identical parts(400/2) , means R1= 200 ohm , R2=200 ohm both half coil connect in parallel combination then 1/Req=1/R1+1/R2, 1/Req= 1/200+1/200, 1/Req= 2/200 , 1/Req=1/100, Req=100ohm and voltage is 200 volt then power = 200×200/100, power=400watt and energy (heat) =P×T her T = per second (1 sec), energy= 400×1, energy= 400 joule
