\huge\underline\mathcal\red{Answer}

By Pythagoras theorem

1)ab²=(6)²+(8)²

ab²=100

ab=10

2) ab²=(8)²+(12)²

=64+144=208 not equals to 13 OK friend

so (1) follows a right angled triangle of angle 90 degree

Sum every pair and it should be greater than the third side. For example 6+8 is greater than 10. Check every other pair. If the condition is satisfied it is a triangle.

For right triangle you should square and add the smaller sides and check if it is equal to the square of the third side.

For eg 6²+8² = 10². Therefore it is a right triangle.

Solve and check.

ANSWER : Both are triangles. Only (a) is a right triangle. Good luck solving.
