He was born on 21st march,1916 in Bihar.Bismillah Khan was fascinated by music from a very young age as his ancestors were also great musicians.
2)Bismillah Khan was fascinated by music at a very young age.Gradually, Bismillah started getting lessons in learning the shehnai and practised the instrument for hours. For several years he practised his music at the temples of Balaji and Mangala Maiya and at banks of the river Ganga.
