TO FIND:

Number of bullet fired per minute

GIVEN:

Mass of each bullet=40g=0.04kg

Velocity=10³

Force=200N

Let 'n' be the number of bullet fired per sec

Thus change in momentum will be

∆P=nmv

The force exerted on man=200N

F=nmv

200=n*0.04*10³

200=40n

n=200/40

n=5

The gun fires 5 bullet per sec so the number of bullet fired per minute will be

5*60=300

Thus the machine gun fires 300 bullet per minute with the velocity of 10³ m/s
