\huge\boxed{\mathtt\red{SOLUTION:-}}

Given :-

  • Area of a rectangle = 4x²+8x-5

To Find :-

  • Perimetre of the rectangle.

Solving :-

let length be a and breadth be b :-

⟹ Area (rectangle) = 4x²+8x-5

✒ length×breadth = 4x²+8x-5

✒ a×b = 4x²+8x-5

✒ a×b = 4x²+10x-2x-5

✒ a×b = 2x(2x+5)-1(2x+5)

✒ a×b = (2x+5)(2x-1)

Therefore :-

⟹ Length = a = (2x+5)

⟹ Breadth = b = (2x-1)

Now,

⟹ Perimeter (rectangle) = 2(a+b)

✒ Perimetre = 2(2x+5+2x-1)

✒ Perimetre = 2(4x+4)

✒ Perimetre = 8x+8
