When the driver looks at his side mirror,he immediately pulls to the side of the road to give way to the approaching vehicle. 1. The approaching vehicle was an emergency vehicle because its siren was activated. The police and ambulances frequently use the siren to clear the way. It is an indication of an emergency and all other vehicles are expected to pull over to the side to give way to these emergency vehicles.  

2. Music has a strong effect on our minds. Calming music like lullabies relax the mind and soothe the babies enough to make them fall asleep. Rock and roll music tends to increase the heart rate and excitability levels. Higher the excitement, lesser are the chances of the baby falling asleep. Therefore, lullabies, which are gentle, soothing and relaxing are preferred for babies' bedtime.

3. The bouncing of sound waves off smooth solid surfaces causes an echo. This reflection of sound builds an echo.
