Hi mate.
Thanks for asking this question.
Here is your answer,
Our earth is formed over the
4500 million years ago. By comparison of the
today's atmosphere with the primitive
atmosphere we seen that it is very different.
At the primitive time the largest component of
the atmosphere is carbon dioxide, followed by
the nitrogen and hydrogen and the presence
of the oxygen is negligible.
This atmosphere shows that the
fullfilness of the gases produced from cooling
of the molten planets and during the volcanic
eruption. Their is no oxygen at that time, but
oxygen can be produced by the action of
ultraviolet radiation from the sun on the water
bodies.
Then, the proportion of the carbon
dioxide is reduced rapidly due to the it is
dissolved in the water.
After, the photosynthesis process
increases the amount of oxygen when the first
planet is formed.
When we see our today's
atmosphere which mainly contains nitrogen
(78.08%), oxygen (20.95%), and with
remaining gases mainly the argon (093%) and
carbon dioxide (0.03%). The decrease in the
percentage of the carbon dioxide which
directly affects on the temperature at the
earth's surface.
Today's pollution is due to the increase
in the pollutants which is also the cause of the
human interfere in the environment.
Thank you.
