\sf{\large{\underline{\underline{Given \colon}}}}

Length of Room = 5 m

Breadth of Room = 4 m

Height of Room = 3 m

\sf{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation \colon}}}}

It can be observed that four walls and the ceiling of the room are to be white washed. The floor of the room is is not to be white washed.

Area to be Water Washed =

Cost of White Washing

Per m² Area = Rs. 7.50
74 m² Area =

Answer:

l = 5 b= 4 and h = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Total area of 4 wall = h [ 2l + 2b ]

                              = 2h [l+b]

                              =2[3][5+4]

                              =6[9]

                               =54

AREA of ceiling   = lb =5[4] =20

total area to be washed = 54 +20 =74  m^2

                                               [ floor  is not to be washed ]

so cost  = 74 x 7.5

             = 555  rs
