The author says so because they had given baba to the zoo in Mysore . Moreover they missed his activities, the way he used to play and a lot more. They were also relieved baba would no longer be a problem for the tenant’s children

Here we all refers to narrator, his wife and his son they missed baba ( bruno) they missed bruno they sad this because afters some time they got relieved thinking as bruno is going to become so big and they face problem to kept him at home
