18 {a}^{2} {x}^{2} - 32 \\ 2(9 {a}^{2} {x}^{2} - 16) \\ 2( {(3ax)}^{2} - 16) \\ \\ as \: \: {x}^{2} - {y}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y) \\ \\ therefore \: this \: polynomial \: becomes \\ 2(3ax + 4)(3ax - 4)

Given : 18a^2x^2 - 32.

It can be written as:

⇒ 2(9a^2x^2 - 16)

⇒ 2[(3ax)^2 - (4)^2]

We know that a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

⇒ 2(3ax + 4)(3ax - 4).

Hope this helps!
