Answer:

Due to inertia

Explanation:

Here is my explaination :

Imagine yourself sitting on a bus and someone else is watching you from outside. From their frame of reference, you are moving and the bus is too.

But from your frame of reference (from your eyes), the bus is not moving. When the bus stops, you are still in your state of Morin, so you bounce forward.

Similarly, when the bus is steady, your brain is at steady state. When the bus starts moving, you are still in the state of rest, thus you experience a backward bounce because the brain needs some time to change its state.

If this is satisfying, please mark brainliest!

Answer:

According to Newton's first law of motion

every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.

This law explains inertia and mass.

Inertia is the tendency of a body to remains in state of its rest or in its motion.

Now coming to our question

In a moving bus, a passenger moves with the bus due to inertia of motion. As the driver applies brakes, the bus comes to rest. But, the passenger tries to maintain to inertia of motion. Hence, the passenger tends to fall forward when the bus stops.

Similarly, In a resting bus, a passenger is also in rest with the bus due to inertia of rest. As the bus accelerates from rest, the bus moves. But, the passenger tries to maintain the inertia of rest. Hence the passenger tends to fall backwards when the bus accelerates forward

Hope it helps you
