Gradually adding of waste materials I.e biodegradable substances in the pond resulting the depletion of flora and fauna because of the disturbance of their natural pond habitats... The toxic substances increase and resulting depletion of oxygen, micro as well as macro nutrients used by the concerned flora as well as the fauna thus the pollution of adding biodegradable substances causes death of the related flora and fauna gradually.. but if the biodegradable substances are non toxic and non polluting the case will be vice versa..
