Answer:

555, 3700

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of a room:

Length = 5 m.

Breadth = 4 m.

Height = 3 m.

Area of four walls including the ceiling = 2(l + b) * h + (l + b)

= 2(5 + 4) * 3 + (5 * 4)

= (54 + 20) m²

= 74 m²

(i)

Cost of white-washing = 7.50 per m².

Total cost = (74 * 7.50) = 555.

(ii)

Cost of white-washing = 50 per m².

Total cost = (74 * 50) = 3700.

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The area to be painted = 4 walls + ceiling

=TSA of cuboid - area of floor

= 2(lb+bh+hl) - lb

= 2(5×4+4×3+3×5) - 5×4

= 2(20+12+15)-20

=2×47 - 20

= 94 - 20

= 74 m^2

1) cost of painting at 7.5m2

= Area × rate

=74×7.5

=545/-

2) cost of painting at 50/me

= Area×rate

=74×50

=3700/-

I hope it helps you
