Since, the diagonals of a square are equal.
Therefore,HalfPR = Half QS
5x-4=3x+2
5x-3x=2+4
2x=6
x=6/2
×=3

Diagonals of a square bisect each other.
So half of the diagonals will be equal to each other.
So,
5x - 4 = 3x + 2
5x - 3x = 2 + 4
2x = 6
x = 6/2
x = 3.
