An average =

total sum of the observations / total no. of observations

in this case,

no. of observations= 3

sum of observations = 4/5 + 2/3 + 5/6

LCM of denominators = 30

thus,

4×6 + 2×10 + 5×5 / 30

=> 24 + 20+ 25/ 30

=> 69 /30

average =( 69/30) / 3 = 69/30 × 1/3 = 23 /30
