1) In the poem, the poet sits and introspects about his past while he also thinks about his present and what will happen in future. He believed that whatever future has in store for him can't be altered. He relives the memories of the bygone years that brought different experiences for him.

2) FAILURE ARE THE STEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS

YES, INDEED FAILURE IS THE STEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS. ONCE WE FAIL WE GAIN THE MOTIVATION IN US TO TRY TO DO BETTER THE NEXT TIME. ITS A KIND OF INSPIRATION. WE SHOULD TRY AND LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES. THEN ONLY IT WILL HELP US IN OUR FUTURE. ONCE YOU FAIL YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BOW YOUR HEAD AND SIT IN ONE CORNER, INSTEAD YOU SHOULD TRY AND TRY TILL YOU SUCCEED. AND THEN YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN YOU . MANY PEOPLE COPE UP WITH FAILURE BUT THERE ARE STILL SOME WHO THINK THAT IT IS THE END OF THEIR LIFE. BUT YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY AND LEARN SOMETHING FROM WHAT HAPPENED. AND THEN YOU WILL SAY AS WELL AS BELEIVE THAT FAILURE IS THE STEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS.

3) In the poem the poet has described his three phases of life past present and the future and has compared it to seasons.

The question has been asked from the poem I sit and Think by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The poem begins with poet realizing the fact that a time will inevitably come in which he will not see another season.

It gives him much sorrow and causes him to recall the springs he lived through, the summers and the autumns. They were beautiful, and vibrant. Yet they exist only within his mind.

The poet carries on his meditation on life and death. He's sitting down and worrying about everything that he didn't see or do. He is also very concerned about the natural environment and labels his lost opportunities by "green" spaces that are unwitnessed.

Before he can progress any further into sadness his attention is drawn to the present. He notes that the sounds of footsteps returning to his door. These are his friends and family members, whom he would rather enjoy while then being able to mourn for something that he can not change.

4) The speaker is a young boy.

6) In "Lines Written in Early Spring ," the poet, presumably Wordsworth himself, sits reclined in a small woodland grove. It is obvious to the reader, even without foreknowledge of Wordsworth, that this is where the speaker feels most at home. As he sits taking in the beauty of nature in spring, he hears a birdsong that he considers to be the most beautiful harmony imaginable.
