Answer:

1.Electrolysis is a process by which electrical energy is used to produce a chemical change. Perhaps the most familiar example of electrolysis is the decomposition (breakdown) of water into hydrogen and oxygen by means of an electric current. The same process can be used to decompose compounds other than water.

2. There are two types of electrolytes :

weak electrolytes(An electrolyte that ionises to a small extent in solution is called weak electrolyte.) and strong electrolytes

(Electrolytes are chemical species that conduct electricity when dissolved in solution).strong electrolytes completely or almost completely ionize or dissociate and have many ion, and weak electrolytes do not completely ionize or dissociate and have few ions which is why it does not conduct electricity as well.

hope it helps..

Answer:

answer.. 1.. Electrolysis is e promising option for hydrogen production from renewablw resourses.Electrolysis is the process of using electricity of split water into hydrogen and oxygen . this reaction takes place in a unit called an electrolyzer

ans..2..Electrolytes are substance which, when dissolved in water, break uo into cations (plus- charged ions). we say they iozine. strong electrolytes ionize completely (100 percentage while weak electrolytes ionize only partically (usually on the order of 1-10percentage)
