Let. x be the total no: of spectators.
given:
(2/7) of the spectators were in a covered plane.
=>(5/7) were outside.
again given : 15000 spectators were in open area.
ie. (5/7) of x = 15000
i.e. 5x/7 = 1500
=>x = (15000×7) / 5
=>x=21000.
so 21000 spectators were there in total.

to equate we must find the part of people outside and equate it with 15000.
i.e. 1-(2/7) =5/7
what is the mean of equate
amount of people inside is not given...
