We are asked to answer some questions that have been asked in the chapter ' My financial Career.' The answer to these questions asked will be as follows:
- The narrator of this story is Stephen Leacock.
- In this story, the narrator tells us about how he tried to open a bank account.
- The answer to the first question will be the manager felt thought this because the narrator wanted to speak to him alone.
- The two reasons mainly for speaking to the bank manager alone is that either the person is a detective and he has come to know some private information or he has come to deposit a very large sum of money.
- The manager was still serious when he came to know the narrator was not a detective because he thought the narrator had come to the bank to deposit a huge sum of money and he did not feel like losing on that business.
- The narrator opened the bank account with the help of the fifty-six dollars he had with him with the help of a clerk. Then he realizes he has no money and instead of withdrawing the six dollars that he needs he withdrew the entire fifty-six dollars and promptly closes his account also.
