According to the first question why did Atul ask the maid to wait for 3 weeks, this is because, it takes 17-19 days generally or almost 3 weeks for the pigeon eggs to be hatched. If the maid would remove the nest after 3 weeks then the eggs of the pigeon would not be harmed and new offsprings would also born safely.
2)Ans:
Like the other birds egg-shell, pigeon's egg-shell is also made up of calcium carbonet(CaCO₃). After drying up of the egg-shell it turns into calcium carbonate crystals. If the amount of calcium is very high then the shell often may get cracked. Pigeon's egg-shells are generally thin. The membrane is a cobination of different kinds of protein.
