take a blue litmus paper and put it in both the drinks
the drink which turns slight red is the lemon soda as it has citric acid which turns blue litmus red whereas water is a neutral compound so no change in Litmus paper color
by taste
lemon soda is sour but water is tasteless
2-when insects bite they release formic acid into the body that causes irritation but the calamine solution being basic counters it's action preventing irritation
