convert everything in sin and cos.
1/cosA-sinA/cosA=1/2
(1-sinA)/cosA=1/2........eqn 1.
multiply and divide the LHS by (1+sinA)

(1-sinA)(1+sinA)/cosA(1+sinA)=1/2
1-sin^2A/cosA(1+sinA)=1/2
cos^2A/cosA(1+sinA)=1/2
cosA/(1+sinA)=1/2
use sinA=sqrt(1-cos^2A)
the eqn will be reduced in terms of cosA
U will get the value of CosA in that way.
Then use sec A=1/cosA.

Method2: use secA=1/cosA=5/4 in the eqn 1
done.
