answer the two by saying it like this
example:
"a and b"

24. The load across a 12-V battery consists of a series combination of three resistances R1, R2, and R3. R1 is 200 Ω, R2 is 100 Ω, and R3 is 80 Ω. Find the current.

A. 3.2 A
B. 2.4 A
C. 31.7 A
D. .03 A

25.Two resistances, one 5 Ω and the other 10 Ω, are connected in parallel. What is the equivalent resistance of the parallel combination?
A. 6.7 B. 3.3 Ω C. .3 Ω

24. Now first of all we find the total resistance

Equivalent resistance in series = R1+R2+R3

=200 + 100 + 80

= 380 ohm

Now By ohm's law V = I x R

12 = 380 R

R = 12/380

= 0.03 A i.e. D           Ans

25. Equivalent resistance in parallel = 1/R1 + 1/R2

=1/5 + 1/10

=2/10 + 1/10

= 3/10

= 0.3 Ohm i.e. C            Ans
