Explanation:

1. Kharif crops, monsoon crops or autumn crops are domesticated plants like rice that are cultivated and harvested in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh during the Indian subcontinent's monsoon season, which lasts from June to November depending on the area. ... Rice, maize and cotton are the major kharif crops in India.

2. When the seedlings are grown in the nursery for the few weeks and then transplanted on the farms for further growth of crops, it is defined as the transplantation.

It is highly advantageous as new and hybrid seeds are produced which consequently help in more crop production with least plant damages.

3.Storage components of grains, fruits and vegetables are given below -

Grains are stored in bags made of jute or hemp for storage as well as transportation since they are portable.

Grains are also stored in sillos, which are large tanks of galvanised metal sheet.

Vegetables and fruits are stored at very low temperatures to inhibit any microbe activity. The temperature generally used for their storage is

−10°C to −18°C.

4.Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain (or other crop) from the chaff to which it is attached. It is the step in grain preparation after reaping. Threshing does not remove the bran from the grain.[1]

Threshing may be done by beating the grain using a flail on a threshing floor. Another traditional method of threshing is to make donkeys or oxen walk in circles on the grain on a hard surface. A modern version of this in some areas is to spread the grain on the surface of a country road so the grain may be threshed by the wheels of passing vehicles.[
