RAPID COMBUSTION:-

Rapid combustion is a process in which large amount of heat and light are released in a very short span of time. For e g - combustion of LPG, a candle or a spirit lamp which produces heat and light instantly.

SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION:-

The ignition of organic matter (e.g. hay or coal) without apparent cause, typically through heat generated internally by rapid oxidation.

EXPLOSION:-

The transition from combustion to explosion is caused by an acceleration of the reaction, induced either by a rise in temperature or by increasing lengths of the reaction chain.
