1)Smooth muscle cells have one nucleus. Most cardiac muscle cells have one nucleus but a substantial percentage of them have two. As for skeletal muscle fibers, I seem to recall that it's common to have around 40 nuclei. Yes, a skeletal muscle does have multiple nuclei, or it is multinucleated, as does cardiac muscle.
